OOTDs: A few little style updates...

Hello lovelies!

As you can probably guess from my distinct lack of blogging activity, I am once again bogged down with work!  It's coming towards the end of the school year, which has meant singing exams, school shows, negotiating new contracts and other work related activities which have kept me away from the world that is blog (and the world that is fashion...sob! I'm catching up on the Haute Couture shows as soon as I get a spare minute!!).  However, I have been totally embracing Instagram; it's quick and snappy and helps me to give little snippets of what I've been up to, without having to sit at the computer for hours on end!  So I thought I'd put a quick little post together about the looks I've been loving at the minute.

A love affair with Chanel...

I'm loving my vintage attire at the moment and constantly find myself rummaging through my wardrobe to see what I can pair up with my favourite pencil skirt (whilst we're are on the subject, can anyone recommend a place where I can buy a new pencil skirt...mine is swinging from my hips!!!).  Alas, at 29, I've never been brave enough to wear a crop top (and I'd NEVER show my belly button off unless I was wearing a bikini on a beach somewhere hot!), but with the summer heat we've been having, and with a high-waisted skirt I thought to hell with tradition, and threw on my little lace vintage Chanel crop top.  I paired it with a pair of pretty peep-toe Primark shoes and my Chanel (ish i.e. replica Chanel bag!) and felt very Audrey Hepburn when I added my sunglasses!  I got my Chanel crop top from Scout Vintage when it first opened and did a little hoorah dance at the thought of owning my first piece of Chanel clothing.  I always feel a bit special when I wear it!

House of Harrie Hattie-Hattie's Bad Hair Days...

My friend Kerry Jones is a genius.  This is not an elaborate exaggeration.  You may remember a while ago I posted about buying one of Kerry's fantastic bow hair pieces to match my Vivienne Westwood Sea Monster bag (here).  Well, this time she's brought out a sister line of hair scarves called #Hattiesbadhairdays and I just had to have one for myself.  Throw in Parisian material and I was smitten!  Sold in a range of tartan under the House of Harrie Hattie label and a fun selection of prints for Hattie's Bad Hair Days, a Hattie head scarf is this summer's must have accessory.  You heard it here first!!  I've had loads of fun styling mine, and I'll definitely be taking it Cannes when I go for my summer holidays in August.  You can pick yours up here, how will you wear it?

A shoe affair...

Finally, I just gave these poor unwanted a shoes a home.  My fabulous friend Jen is moving to London and couldn't take her poor Lady Dragon's with her, so I promised to love them forever.  I can't wait to take them for a spin!!!

What have you been loving lately?
