I've been writing elsewhere so thought I would share...

Hello lovelies!

Hope you've had an amazing weekend and are looking forward to the new week ahead!  I'm trying my hardest to blog as often as I can at the moment, and I'm really enjoying being able to do it.  I just, as always, wish I had a little more time to do so!  Today's post is a mash up of posts I've been writing in other places that I thought would be nice to share here, starting with a feature on my lovely friend Chloe's blog.

Chloe's is one of my favourite blogs!  She's originally from Norwich and after a stint of living in London, she moved up North when she fell in love (it's such a sweet story!).  I'm so glad she did because if it hadn't been for her, I probably would never have been brave enough to go along to my first blog event and would never have met some of the amazing people that I have at blog events since.  I'm honoured now to call Chloe a friend and she is one of the sweetest people I've ever met!  Her blog is all about her love for the North East, so when she asked me to share my North East story as part of a little series she is running on her blog, I absolutely jumped at the chance!  So if you haven't read it, and want to know a little bit more about my upbringing and why I'm proud to be a northerner, you can do so here.

A while back, a new North East online magazine called Engage Magazine were launching and were looking for bloggers to write about anything to do with the North East.  I thought this would be a great opportunity to gain more exposure for my blog and to improve my writing so I decided to put myself forward for the task!  I've written three foodie articles since then (you know I love my food!).  They are as follows:

My top 5 places to eat in Newcastle

You'll definitely spot some favourites in here that have already featured quite heavily on my blog!  Hopefully it'll give you some new spots to try out too if you're from the area!

Rosie's in Gosforth

A little cake haunt a bit further afield than where I normally travel.  My experience wasn't the best but even so the cake was definitely worth a mention!

 Serendipity Tea and Trinkets

Okay, I love Serendipity.  I talk about it all of the time.  My name's Kayleigh and I'm a cake and scone addict!!  I just love this little place so much and if you haven't been yet make sure you go soon before the cake runs out!!

So there you have it! I'd love to here what you think of my little articles if you have time to read them!  Also, if there's any foodie places you'd like me to review please let me know and I'll do my best to pay them a visit!

Here's to an amazing week lovelies!
