A mad hatter for "House Of Harrie Hattie"...

Hello my lovelies, how are you? Hope you're good!

First of all, thank you so much to everyone that follows my blog on Bloglovin'...this week I hit my 100 followers target :) When I first started to write my little blog, I hoped to achieve 100 followers within my first year and it's so amazing to know that people are interested in what I have to say, even though a lot of it is usually waffle! So thanks so much to everyone who's taken the time to read, follow and comment.  I always try to follow everyone back and take time to read and comment on your blogs so muchos gracias for your time!

Okay, now onto the post.  I have a lovely Instagram friend called Kerry Jones, who is an amazing hat and bow designer and owner of "House of Harrie Hattie".  We got chatting over a mutual love for all things Vivienne Westwood, and when I saw her designs I fell in love! I am a massive fan of tartan and tweed, and Kerry's designs use these materials to really encompass the Westwood feel.  She specialises in fascinators, the sort of hat you would wear for a day at the races or a wedding. But Kerry's fascinators are fresh and funky, yet elegant all at the same time!! I really wanted a Kerry design to match my beloved Sea Monster bag, so I was uber excited when Kerry did a range of accessories in Bruce of Kinnaird tartan and just had to have one of her bows (in my hair above and in the photo below)...at the amazing price of £9.99!!

What I love most about Kerry's bows is that they are so versatile, and that they really are one of a kind.  The cut of the tartan fabric in this case, much like the cut of Westwood's bags differs from accessory to accessory, so you know that when you're buying you're getting a one-off!  And it was also a lovely finishing touch to receive my bow wrapped in the most gorgeous gold tissue paper, and with a personalised card from Kerry herself.  I haven't had chance to wear my bow properly yet, but I'm attending my first ever blog event on Saturday so I'm thinking about rocking it with my Sea Monster bag for that...I'm gonna try it out a few different ways and will definitely post the finished look at the weekend! I can't wait to wear it, and will certainly be ordering more in the future!

A tremendous tartan trio!

You can check out "House of Harrie Hattie" for yourself here and if you want to buy you can do so via the shop on Etsy (link!).  You can also find Kerry's page on Facebook, you can follow her on Instagram and find her on Twitter

Until next time lovelies...
