Bank Holiday Monday fun in the sun...

OOTD: Blazer: from my VBF, Top: Asda (old), Jeans: Levi's, Bag: Primark (new) £6, Shoes: Primark (old)
With another Bank Holiday Monday approaching (yippeeeee!!) I thought I best get my skates on and show you what I got up to during the last one!!  These photographs were taken at Seaham, down by the sea front (hence the incredibly windswept hair!), and for all it was a little chilli it was such a lovely day.  There's a new cafe in Seaham right down beside the mariner and lifeboat centre called 'The Lookout' and it is absolutely gorgeous.  They do the best tray baked cakes ever (their mint Aero cake is like a party in your mouth!) and the best part is that the location is perfect! On a sunny day you can sit on the balcony and admire a beautiful sea view! For those with pets, you can even take your dog along with you (as long as you sit in the outdoor area).  A word to the wise however, as it's a great little place, on a lunch time it gets really busy, so be prepared to wait for a seat...but to be honest you'd be mad not too!  After we'd had our delicious cheese and ham paninis, and shared a bucket of chips, we decided to take five and chill by the sea...oh I do like to be beside the seaside!! You can check out 'The Lookout' here, and if you get chance to visit...I'd love to hear all about it!

For those who will get the chance, have a fabulous Bank Holiday Monday!

  1. Ooooh lovely! There are so many seaside places I still need to visit in the area!

So so glad you've bought a ticket for the bloggers teaspoon event, don't be nervous it'll be great :D I can meet you before as well if you like so you don't have to walk in alone (always the scariest part!)
